Edison, NJ, March 22, 2022– CS Energy, a leading integrated energy firm that designs and builds optimized projects in the solar, storage and emerging energy industries, announced today that Lisa Delsante has joined the company as the Chief Legal Officer. At CS Energy, Lisa will oversee CS Energy’s Legal Department, which will handle all transactions, corporate strategy, new opportunities, the legal, regulatory and compliance aspects of day-to-day operations, commercial and organizational improvements, and more.

“We are excited to have Lisa onboard and bring her many years of legal, construction and business acumen to the team,” said Matthew Skidmore, CEO of CS Energy. “Lisa is a proven executive whose business-minded approach, legal experience, and leadership ability will be significant assets to our organization. She will play an integral role in our continued growth in the solar and energy storage markets this year and, in the years, to come.”

CS Energy will add Lisa and her talents to a team of more than 200 accomplished employees who have collectively installed over 1.5 GW of solar energy capacity across the nation. Under Lisa’s guidance, CS Energy will be able to significantly expand its capabilities in developing customized, high-value utility and commercial solar energy and energy storage solutions.

Lisa will also be a great addition to CS Energy’s Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) group, as she has served on several boards of both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh, which is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women.

Lisa also recently served on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Energy Network Foundation, and from 2008 through 2019, Lisa was President of Children of the Sahara Foundation, a non-profit she co-founded that focused on improving the lives of nomadic and semi-nomadic women and children living in the Sahara Desert and Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

Prior to joining CS Energy, Lisa served as Chief Legal Officer at ELM Home and Building Solutions, a manufacturing and construction company. Before ELM, she served as Chief Legal Officer and Vice President of Business Optimization at OCI Enterprises, where she oversaw all legal aspects related to solar project development, module manufacturing, chemical manufacturing and biotech VC investments. She also advised executives on performance improvements, workforce optimization, and acquisition opportunities.

Lisa was also Senior Vice President at REC Solar, a Duke Energy company and General Counsel at NRG Home Solar. Earlier in her career, Lisa held senior roles at NRG Energy Inc., and Direct Energy. She began her career at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP (formerly, Hunton & Williams LLP) as an associate in their corporate and securities law practice. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany, a master’s degree from New York University and a juris doctorate from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.

Lisa brings more than two decades of legal and business experience in senior roles within the energy and manufacturing industries. As CS Energy’s Chief Legal Officer, Lisa’s priorities will be focused on growing CS Energy’s Legal Department, mentoring the team and working with CS Energy’s leadership to refine their legal strategy and identify growth opportunities. “CS Energy is a leader in the solar industry,” stated Lisa. “I’m honored to join a company that has a reputation for integrity and delivery, even in this challenging environment. I am excited to be a part of such an accomplished team, and am eager to help lead the company in their next growth phase.”
