Company recognized by state’s leading business journal due to positive employee feedback
Edison, New Jersey, July 12, 2022 – CS Energy, a leading integrated energy firm that designs and builds optimized projects in the solar, storage, and emerging energy industries, has been named one of NJBIZ’s Best Places to Work in New Jersey for 2022. This is the third consecutive year that CS Energy has received this recognition in the Medium Companies category (50 – 249 employees) by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s leading business journal.
Best Places to Work in New Jersey is a research-driven program from Best Companies Group, an independent research firm that for 17 years has specialized in identifying and ranking companies based on its established research methodology. As part of the methodology, the program conducted confidential employee surveys in order to determine the award winners. CS Energy’s staff rated and described a range of factors that led to the company’s placement on the list, including allowing flexible work schedules and offering parental leave for both men and women. Additionally, staff mentioned enjoying CS Energy’s Women in Renewable Energy (CS Energy WiRE) group, which provides female employees with mentoring and support in an empowering work environment.
CS Energy employees also highlighted that the company provides paid time off for volunteer work, including for Habitat for Humanity house building projects and park clean up events. Respondents also mentioned the company’s frequent team-building events that CS Energy sponsors, such as barbeques, baseball games, dinners and golf tournaments. Additionally, CS Energy’s key focus on safety again contributed to high employee satisfaction, as the company provides safety incentives and a full day of safety training during the weeklong employee onboarding process.
